why Moringa oil works so well for sensitive skin

If you have sensitive skin, you know how challenging creating  an effective skincare routine can be. You have to be extra careful with the products you choose, make sure you’re aware of all the ingredients that go into them, and must often try different combinations to see what might cause irritation or redness.

 Moringa OIl for Sensitive Skin

That is not the case if you use Moringa oil. A one-ingredient wonder, the serum is based on the simplest of formulas, which means it doesn’t hide any surprises, aggressive add-ons or toxic chemicals. Containing 40 percent monounsaturated fatty acids, with 70 percent of that being oleic acid, it is also great for supporting the skin barrier, which seals in hydration and protects us from environmental elements. This makes it not just a good moisturiser, but also very cleansing for all skin types – all the more so for the sensitive set.

It also has no fragrance – a common irritant for anyone with delicate skin. And then there’s the fact it’s a fantastic emollient, able to smooth and soften the skin by helping to repair cracks in the skin barrier, thus preventing water loss. Emollients, for your reference,  are beneficial not only for anyone with dry skin, but also for those with conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. So yes, if you suffer from any of these ailments, Moringa oil is for you.

Moringa oil is in fact also known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, is packed with vitamin E – a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage in skin – and, thanks to its Vitamin A, can help boost collagen and elastin production, which are key proteins needed for strong, glowing, healthy skin.

Furthermore, it contains an element called cytokinins that boost cellular growth on your skin and prevent cell destruction. In other words: it’s a skin-saviour.

Which takes us to the last – but not least – thing we absolutely love about it: Moringa oil is so loaded with hydrating and calming that it can be used from head to toe on pretty much everyone, including babies. It doesn’t get more sensitive than that.
