Moringa Moments: Inside the Wellness Circle with Kanke Kesonpat
Share
This month we are honored to introduce Kanke Kesonpat — a yoga teacher, sound therapist and Co-Founder of holistic retreats, whose journey began with a single Vinyasa class that awakened a lifelong connection to the inner self. Based in Thailand, she guides yoga classes, sound therapy sessions, and co-creates retreats that invite people to reconnect with themselves through movement, stillness, and community.
Awakening Through Yoga
Kanke first discovered yoga as a teenager, though at the time it was only physical. Everything shifted in 2019 when, as she recalls, “the inspiration to become a practitioner came from recognizing that the outlook of life and how to approach it comes from acknowledging and understanding the state of your inner world.” It was during a humble Vinyasa class that she first felt the deeper connection. “I’ve practiced yoga as a teenager, but back then it was only physical, I didn’t know that it could go beyond. This particular Vinyasa class, humble as it was, I felt the Beyond. It stimulated the connection between mind, body and soul. I felt the soul part, and once in-touch with it, there’s no going back.”

From then on, her outlook transformed. She began to practice self-awareness in everyday life, noticing that “when self-awareness is practiced, naturally self-care comes in. Whether that’s moisturizing the skin, or establishing social boundaries. I started to care about what I consume with intentions to nourish the mind and body.” The change was visible both inside and out: “When I integrated the holistic teachings, I was glowing from inside, and that reflected in my outer appearance and people started to ask questions… These were affirmations that I was on a better path.”
By 2020, she trained as a teacher with the very instructor who had guided her journey, carrying forward her intention: “Teaching yoga and holding space with that grand notion has been my intention… at least the essence of self-love and inner world exploration is there.”
Daily Practices: Journaling with Intention
Beyond yoga, Kanke grounds herself with a simple but powerful daily ritual. “Journaling daily affirmations or note down prominent worries of that day, conclude the entry with gratitude,” she shares.
This practice allows her to release what’s heavy, hold space for what matters, and close each day with a reminder of positivity and balance.
Grounding Rituals: Dance as Liberation
While yoga remains central, Kanke also grounds herself through movement that is entirely her own. “Dancing in solitude (whilst being maybe naked). Something about this keeps me reminded that I'm in control of my own body, when I accept that, I have the potential to liberate energetic stagnancy. This ritual tends to happen after sundown.”
This ritual is more than just dance; it is a way of reclaiming her body, her energy and her freedom.

The Role of Moringa in Daily Care
Kanke’s journey of self-awareness also extends to mindful self-care, where Moringa Project products have become a natural part of her daily routine:
“In the morning and night skincare routine, I lightly massage my face with Moringa Facial Oil. My face feels more firm and has less redness. After washing my hair, I massage the Moringa Hair Oil onto my scalp, this soothes out any dryness. It feels light and not greasy. I feel like I can feel my hair being more tamed.”
These rituals, though simple, connect her back to the same values she found through yoga: listening to the body, honoring what it needs, and caring from the inside out.

A Note of Wisdom
Kanke’s story is rooted in resilience and reflection. She knows the journey is not always smooth, but she sees beauty in the balance of it all:
“If you're experiencing a bad day or season of your life, know that a better circumstance is on its way and you'll feel lighter and more content again. Without the bad days or seasons, you'll never learn how to appreciate the upturns.”
